Leader of the research project “Josef Ressel Center for thin glass technology for structural glass applications”, Austria

 After his study at the University of Technology in Graz he worked in an office for civil engineering in Graz. With important projects like the atrium roof of the Sony Centre in Berlin, the courtyard roofing of the British Museum in London or the Berlin State Library he could gain much practical experience. He changed back to University of Technology in Graz to the institute for structural design. During this time of 4 years he completed his post graduate study with my doctoral thesis “Structural Design of Façades and Roofs made from Glass”. After one year in a glass-processing company he accepted the offer of the University of Applied Science FH – Joanneum to teach the students in lectures about structural design and in a special lecture about structural glass and 2014 became a professor on this university. 2016 he became the leader of the research project “Josef Ressel Center for thin glass technology for structural glass applications”.
